Ladies Cricket at Newmarket Cricket Club
In July 2024, after a wave of interest and numerous enquiries, Newmarket Cricket Club proudly launched its women’s section. What began as a series of fun, beginner friendly coaching sessions quickly blossomed into something special. By the end of the summer, our ladies’ team had already competed in four matches, marking the start of an exciting journey.
Today, we have a welcoming and vibrant women’s section with players, ranging in age and experience. Our coaching sessions are designed to create a friendly and inclusive environment where women of all abilities can come together, get active, and enjoy the game. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, you’ll find a supportive group of people ready to help you develop your skills, socialise, and most importantly, have fun!
Our ladies team compete in the Cambridgeshire Women’s T20 Softball League with a full competitive fixture list.
