Newmarket Cricket Club is a progressive, community-driven club located on the Suffolk/Cambridgeshire border.

We are proud to offer cricket for all from our thriving junior and women’s sections through to senior men’s cricket played at a high competitive level. With five men’s teams and a strong 1st XI competing at the top end of the game, we provide clear pathways for players to develop and progress. Our mission is to deliver high-quality coaching, excellent facilities and outstanding value, ensuring players of all ages and abilities can enjoy, learn and succeed in cricket.

We proudly field five competitive men’s senior teams and one competitive ladies team, including:

1st XI in the Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Premier Division 1 on Saturdays
2nd XI in the CCA Junior League Division 1 North on Saturdays
Sunday XI in the Hunts Bats Suffolk Cricket League Division 1
Two Midweek T20 sides in the Haverhill & District Midweek League (Division 1 & 3) on Wednesday Evenings
Ladies Team in the Cambridgeshire Softball League

Our junior section is at the heart of Newmarket Cricket Club.

Catering for players from Under 5s through to Under 19s, it continues to grow season after season, offering a fun, safe and supportive environment where young cricketers can build confidence, develop skills and fall in love with the game. With a strong focus on enjoyment, development and progression, our junior programme provides clear pathways into women’s and men’s cricket for those who wish to take the next step.
